Protestantism

this post is created farah
Protestantism originated in Western Europe. It is the section of Christianity that separated from the Roman Catholic Church on the influence of Martin Luther (founder of Lutheran churches) and John Calvin (founder of Calvinist movement) during the 1500’s. The Protestants worship only Jesus Christ as their Lord and consider bible as the word of Lord. The Protestants argue that every believer is a saint or a priest who can obtain salvation through faith in Christ, they consider salvation as the gift of God to every believer regardless of his merit or deeds. The Baptist, Methodist and the Lutheran Churches are considered as Protestant faith.

Both the Catholics and the Protestants believe in the doctrine of transubstantiation. They believe that the bread and wine used in the religious Masses is exchanged for Christ’s body and blood.
